The Polonia Project
Our Polonia Project is a lakefront cottage renovation on Cottage Grove Lake on the Portage Lakes in Akron, Ohio. Challenges with the existing home included a tight layout for 3 beds/2 baths as well as a small iron spiral staircase that serviced the entire home including lower level kitchen and lake access.
We were able to open up the top floor to accommodate a new master suite layout, new full access staircase, additional powder bath, open concept kitchen/living room with built in features and a brand new fireplace. The lower level, which walks out to amazing lakefront views, now features an open mini bar entertaining space, 3rd bedroom, full bath, and a small flex room for storage and/or home gym.
